Discussion Starters

Monday—Why do you think people don’t want to believe in eternity, heaven, and hell? Are you ever tempted to think that this world is all there is?

Tuesday— In what ways do you think of heaven as just a continuation of life on earth? What is the danger in thinking this way?

Wednesday—What does it mean that you are made a lower than angels for a little while? What does it mean for this life? What about the next?

Thursday—What does it mean that Jesus is ruling in the midst of his enemies? Does suffering in this life mean that Jesus is not on his throne? What does it mean?

Friday—It’s easy to just think about the resurrection as an historical fact. What does it mean for Jesus’ enemies? What does it mean for those who belong to him?
